Background

Mercy Ojwang' (Mace) is Chief Operating Officer at OkHi, the global Proof of Address network on a mission to unlock trust for billions in emerging markets by building the address verification layer that's missing from the identity stack. A performance-driven senior executive with over 16 years’ experience across technology, edtech, education, and media and PR, she leads strategy, operations, regulatory, risk and compliance, HR, and admin, and has helped drive OkHi's growth since joining in 2021 as Director of Operations before stepping into the COO role. Mace has built HR and operations functions from the ground up at companies including Arifu, Spire, LRMG, and Nam Consult. She holds a BA in International Relations and an MBA from United States International University-Africa.
